Tokyo Gaikan Expressway is an outer ring road, passing through Tokyo, Saitama and Chiba. Construction began in 1992 but becuase of land disputes it wasn’ t complete until 2018.
Actually it’s only the upper floor that is Gaikan, the road below is just a huge, multi lane way for traveling shorter distances during daytime and for motocycle gangs to loudly cruise during night time.
I took these photos an evening just about a huge thunderstorm was about to hit.
